The Voice of Young People - PL Workshop

Every year, thousands of young people, parents and carers share their perspectives through Skills Development Scotland's research programme. This webinar brings those voices together, exploring what the evidence tells us about the choices, opportunities and challenges facing young people across Scotland today.

Drawing on insights from Pupil Voice, Young People's Career Ambitions, Parents and Carers Voice and other
recent research, we'll examine the factors shaping young people's decisions about learning, careers and their futures. We'll explore career aspirations, key influences, perceived barriers and the support young people value most, alongside the important role that parents, carers and practitioners play in helping them navigate their next steps.

Designed for teachers, educators and practitioners, this session will translate research into practical insights
that can inform conversations, interventions and support for young people in schools and beyond.

Please note that places on this webinar are limited to educators currently working in Scottish education establishments, including primary schools, secondary schools and colleges.

The session will be recorded.
