#DigiInventors Challenge 2026 (Secondary School S1-S6)

The #DigiInventors Challenge gives pupils the opportunity to tackle real-world health, wellbeing and social care challenges through innovation, technology and entrepreneurship. Teachers deliver the Challenge in the classroom using our free ready-made resources, including lesson plans, presentations and activity templates.

Pupils work in teams to research a problem, design a digital solution and pitch their idea. Finalist teams will be invited to attend a two-day innovation bootcamp at DHI's Glasgow offices, supported by industry experts.

Pupils will:

  • Develop STEM, digital and AI awareness skills
  • Build creativity, research and problem-solving skills
  • Gain experience of innovation and entrepreneurship
  • Strengthen teamwork, communication and presentation skills
  • Apply learning to real-world health and wellbeing challenges

#DigiInventors, helps pupils develop future-ready skills and bring their ideas to life.
